This is a work in progress! I have not finished compiling all of my notes for this class yet. You can look at the notes from 2001 if you are interested but keep in mind that the chapters refer to a different textbook and the material was covered in a different order (slightly).

Expect lots of changes (corrections) in the notes over the course of the semester. There are bound to be lots of typos. The class may diverge from the material included. They are provided solely for the use of students in Math 150A Section 15608 at the California State University, Northridge, Fall 2009 and are not intended as primary source material. For that students should use the assigned textbook from which this material is largely drawn.
